Who is Jesus Christ? 

Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of the One True God!

Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary and walked on this earth as a man.  Immanuel means God with us.  (Isaiah 7:14) (Matthew 27:54)

Jesus is the Savior!

We can never be good enough to work our way to heaven.  Sin entered through Adam and is now a part of the human condition.  No one can obey the law perfectly and save himself.  Jesus is the sacrifice that saved us.  (Luke 2:11) (Romans 8:21-26) (Hebrews 9:27-28)

Jesus is the Healer!

Jesus carried our sicknesses and took the stripes that healed us.  Our healing is part of the finished work of the cross.  (Psalm 103:3) (Matthew 8:17) (1 Peter 2:24)

Jesus is the Deliverer!

Jesus died on the cross so that we can live.  His sacrifice delivered us from the curse of sin.  His free gift of forgiveness is available to all.  (Romans 11:26-27)

Jesus is the Way!

Jesus came to show us the Way.  He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.  No one can go to God, the Father, without Jesus.  (John 14:6)

Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life!

The power of life comes through Jesus.  His gift is not only for eternity but also for us now so that we can experience heaven on earth.  He has come to give life.  (Matthew 9:23-25) (John 10:10) (John 11:25)

Jesus is Heir of all Things!

Jesus walked on this earth without sin and with perfect obedience through the cross.  He paid the price for our reconciliation to God with His blood.  All who believe in Jesus are given the right to be children of God.  (Matthew 3:16-17) (John 1:12-13) (Hebrews 1:2) (Romans 8:17) (Galatians 3:29) (Galatians 4:7) (Ephesians 3:6)

Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords!

Jesus was given authority over all and we will answer to Him.  (Philippians 2:9-10) (Acts 10:36) (Romans 14:11) (1 Timothy 6:14-15)

Jesus is the Word!

The Word of God is alive and able to change our lives.  The Word of God is Jesus.  (John 1:1) (John 1:14) (Revelation 19:13)
